love the birdies!!! did the cardinal keep tap tapping on your window. they attempt to fly into our all the time. My mom was staying at my house and she kept yelling at the front door…come in, it’s open…crazy woman…it took her several days to realize it was the cardinals.
oh, no… the one at Grandma’s sings. loudly. in the tree right next to the window. Juuusssttt until I wake up. Pretty sure his entire family has lived there.
Very beautiful! I’m something of a birder myself. Other than cardinals though, we see mostly forrest birds. (woodpeckers, titmice, hawks, nuthatch, etc.) And of course squirrels, but they’re hardly birds at all are they?
well, they do fly if you kick them in the tocks….
Nice pictures… i’d suggest a BB gun or some such for the cardinal, but they’re pretty stupid.
I swear that cardinal and his family have been taunting me since day one…
Have you seen that walrus hanging around trying to get the woodpecker? Or has he finally given up?
you totally lost me there. then again, that’s not that hard to do.
HAHHAHAHAHAHAHH!!! I laaaaauuughed when I saw Jerk Bird. We are all about feeding the birdies here. We have a couple cardinals who come infrequently, but the real jerk birds here are TURKEYS! I’ll have to post all about it.
such tasty tasty jerks you have! We have turkeys too… I yell at them “I ATE YOUR UNCLE!”
love cardinals..had one build a nest in the tree by the patio..(stupid neighborhood cat scared them away)
Dennis…I vaguely remember that..It must be my age.
Very nice pictures.
Birds are awesome, got some beautiful ones there especially the bright red little guy. All we get here were we are is sparrows & indian myna birds but I still love them. I have planted a couple of flowering gum trees & some bottlebrushes so hopefully that will attract some of the more exotic ones
Thanks Bouncy babe — you’ve inspired my Turkey post!
