Ah, For the Nightmares that Accompany…

16 07 2008

While I am no way denying PMS, I am the proud owner of another cyclic indiciator.

During the time that I crave chocolate, sweatpants, carbs and demanding Steve to tell me I still look pretty, The Brain fires at 1,000RPM between the hours of 10pm and 2am, EST.
And see, half of my brain is buzzing like a hummingbird on coke, giving me crazy/frustrating/upsetting dreams; moreso than usual.  I’m used to the “normal” abnormal dreams.
The other half of my brain says, “Whoa, the last time you fell asleep, you were left alone in the woods with a serial killer who had wiggled out of his restraints.  I’m not letting that happen again.”
And so the battle ensues.
Half 1: Sweet you need to do this and this and this and this and this and this, etc.
Half 2: Can’t sleep, clown’ll eat me.
Half 1: Well, I’m done thinking of hypothetical situations.  Sleep now!
Half 2: Can’t sleep, clown’ll eat me.
Half 1: zzzzzzzzzzzz
Half 2: Okay and now chase that old lady with your car, run her over and then feel immense regret.
Half 1: That was odd. Say, did you lock all the doors.
Half 2: Can’t sleep, clown’ll eat me.

So, here it is, 2pm, and I feel like my face is going to slide off.
Now, I’m normally fatigued around now (That Time-wise) anyway, but compound that with not being able to sleep and I’m a barrel of fun.

Hopefully some gym and puppy stimulation will be able to keep me up until 8.

Oh, and let’s not mention that the sleeplessness has given me VERY SEXY black circles under my eyes. Tres attractive.

I’ve got the circles under my eyes too… I think I tend to other-think in bed. It takes me an hour or so to get sleepy.
It’s not funny SB but your humour oozes out of this entry. (The Clown’ll eat me, had me giggling for ages)

I found a bit of moisturizer under the eyes at night helps clear the circles… I’m not at all offended by your amusement. If I wasn’t so tired, I bet it would be funny 🙂
