I do not understand the previous owner(s) love of wallpaper border.
Every room in the house had border when we moved in. Now we are one less.
I figured if I tackled the bathroom in steps, perhaps I wouldn’t feel so time-crunched. Oh, or pained.
Tonight I took off the border (around the entire ceiling and then some around the sink for god knows why). I cannot praise the combination of vinegar and water (1:3, ish)for removing wallpaper. And I know a lot about removing wallpaper; rehashing the kitchen for those of you who missed it.
Next thing I need to do is procure this shower curtain from my local BB&B. And that’s all I need right now. I do not need this turning into another cupcake carrier fiasco.
I plan on getting some celery green, aqua (but not Grandma Aqua) and maybe brown/tan paint for the walls and ceiling… I do have to prime first.
Ah, nothing like projects!
Here’s my arm, three days later (gave blood Thursday morning and here’s how I look/ed Sunday Afternoon)
I FINALLY feel like I’m back to (mostly) normal. I’m not so tired, my appetite is pretty much back to “constant graze” and the only odd thing is that my tolerance for alcohol is way diminished. I guess it could be worse, beer goes straight to my tummy anyway.
Funny thing is, it all seems so surreal now. Almost like it didn’t happen or I didn’t do it. But i did do it. And it did happen. And it will happen again. And I hurt much less then when I have to have a blood draw… so it must be physiological.
Haven’t had the guts to go back the gym yet (the pamphlet advised to avoid strenuous activity if bruising occurs), seems like slight physical activity makes me more aware of the bruised area, so I think I’ll try the gym tomorrow and stop if I start to hurt. No harm, no foul right?
That being said, perhaps I’ll try tackling another sewing project, though my bathroom is asking me to paint it… I mean, it’s raining and Steve’s doing homework… guess I’ll stare at my toes
Oh, and Happy Mother’s Day to all!
(this includes mothers of angels, mothers of furry babies, mothers of actual babies and mothers of men who act like babies)
